This is a modern instrument. The Eberle name is a made-up, or 'adopted' name used by a German factory, post 1920. The original Eberle makers were all further in the past, and none of them were called Wilhelm. This was general practice amongst German factories, from c.1880 onwards. As far as my research goes, those with Wilhelm Eberle did not start to appear until after the Great War, 1914-18.

Regards,
Gordon
